We want to let our loyal customers and supporters know why you won’t be seeing Baltic Bites at South Line Brewing Co in Cary.
After years of consistently showing up early, serving great food, and never missing scheduled shifts, we were unexpectedly removed from the rotation after one missed date last month — despite the fact that we personally found a replacement truck to cover the shift.
Unfortunately, there was no communication, no warning, and no professionalism in how the situation was handled. To make matters worse, at our last scheduled appearance, we arrived to find another truck already booked in our place due to double-booking and disorganization on their end.
We’ve since learned that other local food trucks have experienced similar issues as well.
We appreciated the way things were run back when Vicious Fishes hosted the trucks, but since the transition to South Line, the level of organization and respect toward local vendors has changed dramatically.
Baltic Bites believes in supporting businesses that support and respect local small businesses. Moving forward, we’ll continue partnering with breweries and establishments that are organized, professional, and genuinely value the vendors and community they work with.
We think our customers deserve transparency about why we are no longer there, and we truly appreciate everyone who continues to support Baltic Bites. There are many amazing breweries in the area that do an incredible job supporting local food trucks, and we’re excited to continue serving at those locations.
