The personalized license plate sales are sky-rocketing, and it is also renewal season for a lot of our early adopters and customers! Thank you for your support! This is our #1 growing source of revenue, which allows us to continue funding our in-house projects, such as the current neon preservation program.
We have received a LOT of questions about how to purchase these plates, and how the renewal process works:
NEW PURCHASES:
First of all, with the sudden death of our Treasurer, Larry Sernyk, the month of May was very difficult. We apologize for the recent delays, since Larry was responsible for sending in the paper applications to the DOR. I personally, along with our volunteers, are working very hard to catch up. Currently, ALL applications from April & May have been sent to Jefferson City. Any inquiries as to status need to be directed there, or to your local DMV office. Thank you for your patience!
Secondly, as we process the June applications so far, remember that https://www.missouri66.org/mo-plate is the place to begin for all new submissions. Fill out the newly streamlined form, and we will send the proper paperwork to the DOR for you. You might have to call your local office in 6-8 weeks to see if your plate has arrived, since many local offices do not necessarily notify individuals as to status.
RENEWAL PURCHASES:
Likewise, the renewal process also starts at https://www.missouri66.org/mo-plate, and it is fully automated. No need to contact us directly! Simply choose "RENEWAL" when filling out the form, and answer the simple questions. A confirmation email will be sent to you immediately, along with an attached EUAS form. Simply print it out, and take it to your local office for renewal. That's it. Simple!
Again, thank you so much for your patience and support through the recent delays, and we look forward to seeing your vehicle sport this stylish plate out there on the ROAD!
