Briella has a rare genetic condition that led to congenital heart disease and had her first open-heart surgery at only 5 days old and another at age 3. Today, she is a happy kindergartner who loves music, dancing and sharing her beautiful smile.

This month, this recognition feels extra special. Nancy’s son, Damian, is being highlighted throughout October for Cookies for a Cause making this an especially meaningful time to celebrate Nancy and her family.

Meet Damian, our reason behind our Cookies for a Cause campaign. ❤️🍪

Damian is the son of Nancy, one of our beloved team members here at Chick-fil-A LakePoint. Damian was born prematurely when doctors discovered a serious heart condition. He has since undergone two open-heart surgeries and 11 heart catheterizations, with another surgery ahead. He’s a happy little boy with high energy and a love for snacks and apple juice.

During the month of October, your purchase of a 6- pack Chocolate Chunk Cookie will go toward helping sweet kids like Damian.
