Today hit my soul different.
Standing there receiving the Community Service Award from the Bartow County Sheriff's Office, thank you Mark Mayton
5 years ago this was just a dream in a chair. Today, it’s bigger than haircuts.
This is for every kid who sat in our chair nervous for that first day of school and left feeling like they could take on the world. For every mama and daddy who trusted us. For this city that raised us.
Thank you to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office for honoring the work — it means more than y’all know.
To our Chop Shop barbers — y’all are my brothers. Y’all show up with heart every day.
And to our Back to School family who made it possible: Los Panchos Tacos,Georgia Tree Masters,Judge + Co.,Hines Law Firm,William Wesley Wylie,Mr. Miter Kitchen and Bath,CTS flooring ,Pa La Sed LLC,Loa Carniceria Cartersville,Full Circle Roofing,Doug Day
You didn’t just put your logo on a flyer. You put hope in backpacks, confidence in fresh cuts, and food in our babies’ bellies. You showed these kids what community really looks like. That’s love you can’t fake.
Cartersville — Bartow County — you are our family. This award belongs to all of us. Thank you for letting us serve you. We love y’all more than words can say. We’re just getting started. ❤️

Wesley Thomason, thank you for stepping up in a big way.

It was your first time coming by the shop, and as soon as you heard what we were doing to help get the kids ready for this school year, you didn’t hesitate to jump in and lend a hand.

That kind of generosity says a lot about the person you are. We truly appreciate your support and are grateful to have people like you helping make a difference in our community. We’re glad to have you as part of this year’s Back-to-School Drive! 💈📚❤️

Doug Day & Daze Construction Services — we truly appreciate you stepping up and being part of this year’s Back to School Drive.

Your generosity is helping make this our biggest year yet, and we couldn’t do it without people like you who believe in giving back to our community.

To all of our sponsors, partners, and everyone supporting this cause—thank you for believing in what we’re building together. We’re excited to see our community come together and make a difference for these kids. 💈📚❤️🙏
