It’s a PARTY 🎉 🥰

Our annual mid-week Summer Pop Up Arts Party is coming up NEXT WEEK on Thursday, July 23rd from 5-7:30 pm at the CAC.

This relaxing evening of art, music, and food is the perfect southern experience, including a concert on the giant front porch of our historic Victorian house.

Today we're excited to announce our two FOOD TRUCKS who will be joining us:

Taste of Douglasville's most sold seafood vendor, Kai Time Food, will be bringing their unique New Zealand/American fusion cuisine. They have the most delicious fried fish and shrimp!
..and longtime CAC MVP, SharBerry Kitchen, will be offering her unique Chicago/SOUL food fusion delicacies!

You can hire someone and tell them…I’ll PAY you to just go to sleep and they would still either be late or don’t show up…
What’s up with the work ethic right now.? Everyone says they wanna work they need a job..but drop the ball in the business owners court. And leave them to play the game by themselves…

This is why as small business owners. We gotta be sure to have a plan B. Because nobody will rock your business like a baby like you will…that’s all in your hands…

SharBerry Kitchen Food Truck is looking for a reliable, hardworking Prep Cook to join our team!

If you love cooking, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in preparing quality food, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities:
✅ Prep vegetables, meats, and ingredients
✅ Keep the food truck clean and organized
✅ Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
✅ Assist with food preparation during events
✅ Work as part of a positive team

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
• Dependable and on time* MUST
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Has a positive attitude
• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Food service experience is a plus (but we’re willing to train the right person!)

Our new exhibit, entitled “Remembrance,” is focused on the ability of art to preserve the point of view and memory of an artist even after they have passed.

Featuring works submitted by the loved ones of deceased artists, this powerful exhibit will be on display from July 6th to August 25th with a free opening reception on Thursday, July 9th from 6-8 pm hosted by Kaiser Permanente and featuring delicious food from SharBerry Kitchen.
