Soups, subs, salads, all delicious and home-made (please see our full menu on this page). Reasonably priced and ready to enjoy in our comfortable little restaurant, or to go. Plus, don't forget we have Walnut Creek meats and cheeses sliced to order. Homemade desserts vary daily (cheesecake, cookies, sheet cake served a la mode). Canned goods such as pepper mustard and peppers in red sauce (right from our garden!) are also available in season.

Hello, friends of Donna’s Deli, how have you been? Donna and Paul here—we miss you, hope everyone is well, and we’re glad to hear so many of you are enjoying Deli on the Square!

We’re just dropping a note here to say that we’re having a garage sale this weekend (at our home—NOT the deli) which starts TOMORROW, Friday the 26th.

Lots of cool stuff, and there will even be some items you may recognize (such as Piccolo, the giant penguin that greeted guests from the window every winter)!

Christmas decorations, decor for indoor and outdoor, baskets, linens, an unused gas fireplace insert, vintage pop culture items, books and DVD’s… Sorry, no kid’s clothes/toys, but tons of other stuff!

From Carrollton, head north up Route 9 to Augusta, and when you pass Manfull Orchards on the right, STAY RIGHT on AURORA ROAD NE and find the hot pink sign at the end of our drive—it’s only a mile or so, on the right side…

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Be there or be square! 😃

Donna’s Deli and the new “Deli on the Square” would like to invite you to a get-together. It’s a way to introduce Laura and some of her menu items, and also a way for DD to say goodbye and thank you.

It will be Saturday, January 28th, from 11am-2pm.

If you plan on coming, PLEASE say so with a COMMENT on this post (not just a thumb’s up), so we have an idea of how many to cook for.

Hi everybody, Donna here. I hope you and your families had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

I wanted to make this announcement weeks ago, but didn’t know until now that it was actually going to happen. I’ve written this about thirty times trying to figure out how best to say it.
We have decided to sell the Deli.

There is nothing wrong. We are healthy and the business couldn’t be any busier. Having the Deli has been amazing, but being a part of this community and considering you family has been everything! Feeding you has been a way for me to show you how much I care and I hope you’ve felt that. We couldn’t be more grateful for everyone’s support. Love you all so very much, and Paul and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!❤️

Now for the good news: Laura, who has worked for us for a couple of years, will be opening a restaurant in our place. Most of you know her already—she’s the one who makes the jalapeño bread and bacon bread—and she has done catering for many of you. I would never turn over the business to anyone who didn’t hold our standards. I know that Laura will. She also makes everything from scratch.

We have no doubt her new deli will be a great addition to our community. You’re going to love her! She will have her page up and running next week. Look under “Deli on the Square” for her menu. (Plus, she has “Laura’s Catering” on FB, so you can look at that right now.)

Also, if you’ve purchased gift certificates for Donna’s Deli, Laura’s new deli will honor them.

We will be CLOSED today—sorry for any inconvenience! This is an early start for our long winter’s nap, which will last until mid-January. Keep an eye out right here for further details…

We have Reubens and Rachels today, with just a few “Christmas Sandwiches” left… Corn chowder with bacon… and apple crisp a la mode!

First, we should mention that, as we get closer to our winter break, we are letting our stock run down and so will be running out of certain things. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Also, with the coming storm being so unpredictable, if the travel is too treacherous in the morning we will most likely be closed. If they’ve completely miscalled it and the roads don’t look too bad, we’ll give it a shot! So stay tuned, thank you, and be safe!

Today is the LAST appearance of the “Christmas Sandwich” special (double-stack ham & Swiss, grilled on Laura’s walnut-fig bread, with red onion and an orange-ginger marmalade, served with your side for $12), plus we can do a few Cuban panini!
The soup is tomato-basil, the cookies are chocolate chip!

We have TWO specials today: First, the Cuban panini (slow-roasted pork, ham, Swiss, pickles, our pepper mustard, pressed on ciabatta flatbread); and the “Thanksgiving Sandwich” makes a surprise return! Turkey and provolone grilled on stuffing-seasoned bread, with a dressing made with cranberry sauce and Haynam’s sweet corn! (The “Christmas Sandwich” will be back tomorrow.)
The soup is ham & bean, the cheesecake is chocolate mocha!

This is the last week before our usual winter break, and we are hoping to be open our regular days and hours. If this storm hits as they are currently predicting, however, it looks like Friday may be a washout (or, more accurately, a whiteout). Please plan any orders you’re considering making accordingly. Stay tuned!
