The food is rich in authentic flavors and ingredients. Our bread and pizza dough is made from scratch and baked fresh in our own oven. The sauce is spiced right here in our kitchen. Most of our meat is purchased locally and pre-cooked in order to reduce the fat content for you. We even pre-bake our pepperoni to make it a little healthier. Our mozzarella is part skim and all our cheeses are 100% re
al cheese. We don't serve fast food. We serve real food and real food takes time to prepare and bake, but we believe you will find it worth the wait. The wait can sometimes be over an hour on the weekends, so we suggest calling ahead with your order if you wish to dine-in. While we serve what is typically thought of as "Italian cuisine", Alfonso is actually from Peru (as in South America). Elena hails from right here in Carrollton and is surprised but happy to be back. Alfonso and Elena met while at college in Chicago and returned to Carrollton to begin the Alfonso's Pizza adventure in 1991. They started small - just the two of them...with their newborn son in a baby swing in the kitchen. Grandma (Elena's mom) soon became an invaluable member of their crew. A couple of daughters blessed the family along the way and the crew has grown to include a bunch of bustling teenagers...and a few "teenagers at heart". In 2003 they purchased and renovated the building next door thereby tripling our dine-in capacity. The story continues:
Jake and I (Hannah) a brother and sister duo bought the place from Alfonso and Elena July of 2023. I (Hannah) joined the crew while in high school back in 2008 and quickly fell in love with the place, although I never would have imagined that I would someday be a part owner. I met my husband working here and we have been blessed with two boys. Jake joined the crew in 2017 and quickly became Alfonso's right hand man. Jake worked with Alfonso during lunch preparing our tasty “Chinese Specials” for over 5 years. Alfonso has passed along all his knowledge and many of his skills on to Jake so he can continue
to bring you all his delicious dishes. You never know when Alfonso himself may be back in the kitchen
lending a helping hand. Dishes range from Chinese Flavors, Peruvian Flavors, True Italian, all the way
to our very own Family Roots. Sometimes you just never know what we will serve out of our Kitchen! We are so very thankful for all of crew and for all of you. We attribute much of our success to our many hard working employees, to you the satisfied customer, and mostly to God who has blessed us greatly.
