Tomorrow is shaping up to be a great day at Rincon Brewery! 🍻

Today is the Gift The Friendship Paddle beer is being restocked with cases before opening tomorrow (Wednesday 7/15) at our Carpinteria location. RBV has some still. Getting to last of what got canned thus far for this beer offering and in support of Scott Miners.

This crisp Japanese Style Rice Lager features stunning can artwork by Chris Potter along with Scott Miners’ 2026 Friendship Paddle logo. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds from every pint and every can sold are donated to Scott through The Friendship Paddle. Thank you to everyone who’s helped support this incredible cause.

And there’s more good news! 🍺 Daysailer was canned today, and we’re working to get it delivered to Carp tomorrow morning as well. Make sure to grab some Daysailer - West Coast India Pale Ale in cans. RBV has it on draft. Will be to RB Carp when a handle opens up.

🌮 Kick off the week with Taco Tuesday! Enjoy our delicious street tacos alongside the France 🇫🇷 vs. Spain 🇪🇸 semifinal at 12 PM. Great soccer, cold beer, and tacos—what more could you ask for?

Wednesday match- 12 PM England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 vs. Argentina 🇦🇷

⚽️ Saturday - Third Place match- 2 pm.

🍻 TODAY IS THE GIFT 🍻

Our 2026 The Friendship Paddle beer is here.

Starting Friday, July 3rd - Today is The Gift, a refreshing Japanese Style Rice Lager, will be available on tap and in 16 oz cans at both Rincon Brewery locations.

Even better, the proceeds from every pint and every can sold go directly to Scott Miners and his family through The Friendship Paddle.

This year’s can features stunning artwork by Chris Potter, Devereux to Ellwood to Driftwood, Goleta the Goodland—a beautiful tribute to the coastline Scott has loved throughout his life.

Scott came to Santa Barbara nearly 30 years ago with his wife and they raised their children here. A lifelong surfer, builder, volunteer, and friend, Scott has always been someone who shows up for others. Even while quietly battling colorectal cancer, he spent last year’s Friendship Paddle supporting last year’s honoree nick fields without ever making it about himself.

Today, Scott is facing Stage 4 colorectal cancer with the same courage, generosity, and positive spirit that have defined his life.

Now it’s our turn to show up for him.

The Friendship Paddle takes place July 18–19, and we’d love for you to join us in supporting Scott and his family. Pick up a beer, make a donation through The Friendship Paddle page, or cheer on one of this year’s paddlers—including three Rincon Brewery owners who will be paddling for Scott and honoring past recipients.

Let’s fill our glasses, support an incredible family, and remember Scott’s message:
