Eggshell's culinary style can be described as “global fusion”—healthy, rustic, fresh and often creative. A unique range of culinary twists are displayed by its namesake—the egg... with supporting roles from sides, salads, soups and sandwiches. Local and “glocal” sources (geographically-specific/artisinal) are the foundation for the quality ingredients weaving throughout its menu. A non-automatic e

spresso experience, siphon bar and Hario drip... paired with a palette of patisserie options, will further delight your senses. The atmospheric vibe is a culmination of unique vintage-industrialism, modernism and functionalism... blended in a warm, very “London loft-like” way. Open daily from 7am - 2pm, plus some early evening hours, for special Palladium and community events. Eggshell opens in November 2011.

Shakshuka (shock-shue-ka) Our NEW dish only stayed on the “specials list” for 2 days... by popular demand, we pulled it up from the farm league to the majors, so it's now on our core menu. It's a really a great dish/fit for our menu, as it offers something slightly spicy-hot & spicy from a flavor profile as well, also it our first tomato sauce based dish. It's very popular in London, Israel & Northern Africa. Moroccan-spiced tomato sauce base (we hand grind several of the spices), onion, garlic, sauteed kale, baked egg, feta... topped w cilantro & served with a side of grilled ciabatta bread for dipping. YUM!

Our NEW weekend special was a definite hit (sold out)... look for it again next Saturday & Sunday. It has fresh Indiana ...

Our NEW weekend special was a definite hit (sold out)... look for it again next Saturday & Sunday. It has fresh Indiana Saltwater Shrimp (as featured on NPR) sitting atop a crispy Grits Cake (Anson Mills based), resting upon a pool of Hominy Gumbo... powered by a Cajun Tasso Ham (from Smoking Goose) & some Andouille Sausage. Yum!
