I keep being told “when one door closes, another one opens…” Well, no one told me how difficult actually closing that door would be… 😞💔
While deep down I know I’ll end up back on top, right now it just feels like I’ve closed the doors on 10 years of the most difficult, but rewarding, times in my life.
Creating something I was extremely proud of, & meeting so so many wonderful people along the way will ultimately get me through, but right now the sadness is a bit overwhelming. 😓
Thank you Carmel for your years of support & patronage! I hope to see you around… And as always, Eat Dessert First!!! 🧡💚🤎

HAPPY HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!! 🦃🍽🍁
To say this past year has been bittersweet, is truly an understatement. I’ve endured too many sleepless nights, WAAAY too many tears & complete heartbreak over my decision to close my dream Café. 💔😓
Though I do have much to be thankful for today….
🍁The thousands of wonderful customers who graced our doors week after week, I am so so grateful to have met you all - you made years of 16-hour days enjoyable.
🍁My wonderful friends & family, for putting up with my exhaustion, MANY many moods (😂 sorry!) & absenteeism from many a gathering I wished I could’ve made - YOU made the hours endurable as I knew I had a safe & loving base to come home to.❤️
While this is NOT the outcome I intended after working so hard all these years, I am grateful for all of you & wish you the very best Thanksgiving & Holiday Season!
