🏡🔨 NORTHEAST GEORGIA: LOOKING TO BARTER LABOR FOR LABOR! 🤝
We’re working hard to finish building our home and are hoping to connect with some good people who might be interested in trading skills and labor!
We’re looking for help with a few remaining projects and would love to find local tradespeople who are open to a fair, mutually beneficial barter arrangement.
🏠 HERE’S WHAT WE NEED HELP WITH:
🔨 Framing punch-out
⚡ Completing electrical rough-in
🚿 Completing plumbing rough-in
🏡 Installing shingles on our roof
🛠️ WHAT WE CAN OFFER IN TRADE:
John is an experienced master carpenter with over 38 years of experience. While he’s recovering from bypass surgery, we’re focusing on smaller projects that fit his recovery and current capabilities.
His specialties include:
• Custom cabinetry and cabinet projects
• Interior trim and finish carpentry
• Small custom woodworking projects
• Built-ins and other custom woodwork
🤝 HOW THE BARTER WOULD WORK:
We would exchange labor for labor, agreeing on the scope of each project and the value of the work beforehand. The person receiving the work would provide the materials needed for their project.
We’re hoping to connect with electricians, plumbers, roofers, framers, and other skilled people who might appreciate having some custom carpentry work done in exchange for helping us move closer to finishing our home.
❤️ We’ve put a tremendous amount of work into building our home, and we’re looking for a way to keep moving forward while John recovers. Sometimes working together is the best way to get things done!
