Have you ever had trouble parking or accessing The Camp Store?

We’re collecting customer experiences about parking and access to The Camp Store.

If you have ever tried to visit The Camp Store and had trouble with parking, short-term access, drop-off, mobility access, or being directed to park elsewhere and walk in, we would appreciate hearing from you. This form is simply to document real customer experiences so we can better understand how access affects visitors, families, campers, locals, seniors, and guests with mobility needs.

Starting March 27th and running until April 19th Jurassic Beach will be running from 11:30am to 5:00pm every day. Our kitchen will be open from 11:30am - 3:00pm and 4:00pm to 7:00pm every day as well. Live music will be 5:00pm - 7:30pm as well… action packed! Remember that parking is off site, you can park at Cape Rey or on Avenida Encinas and walk in. Please do not try to drive into the campground looking for parking or park in the local neighborhoods. And please do not bring outside food or drinks into the camp store dining area. Thanks!

Amazing weather☀️

Starting on March 27th our schedule will change for the Spring Break Holidays and Jurassic Beach Event. Music will be 7 days a week from 5pm - 7:30pm and our kitchen will be open from 11:30am - 3:00pm and 4:00pm - 7:00pm.

One quick note:

We’ve had a lot of people lately bring their own coolers and even order their own outside food and have it delivered to our seating area- please do not do that. Our policy is that the camp store tables and area is for our customers only. If you bring outside items in and are using our tables we will ask that you take them away. We typically hear people tell us that someone told them it’s ok, that someone at The Camp Store said they could do that…. I can promise you we don’t say that or encourage that. This applies to times the kitchen is not open as well.

No business can survive like that and it’s awkward to have to address it here because it seems like it should be pretty common sense.

We spend a lot of money on live music and doing special events that do not require tickets and are open to everyone. You can support those events by simply using our restaurant and store facilities and if our staff kindly ask that you do not do that to not make it weird and defend those types of actions. Thanks for your understanding.
