🌱 A little Fresh Wheatgrass Girl love for our friends at Bone-A-Patreat! 💚

Did you know many cats naturally seek out grasses? Wheatgrass can provide a safe, fresh source of fiber and chlorophyll, and many pet owners enjoy offering it as a healthy treat or enrichment for their curious kitties. 🐱

Dogs, rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, and other grazing animals can enjoy fresh wheatgrass too as part of a balanced diet. Every pet is different, so it’s always a good idea to introduce new foods gradually and check with your veterinarian if you have questions.

This really hit home for me.

When my sweet friend shared this, I immediately thought, “I know exactly what she means.”

I’ve never really known what to do when someone compliments me. Part of me wants to say thank you… and another part immediately wants to explain why they’re wrong or point out all the things I wish were different.

Why do so many of us do that?

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that accepting a compliment somehow meant we were being prideful. But maybe there’s a difference between arrogance and simply agreeing with the good that someone else sees in us.

I’m still learning.

One thing I do know is that how we care for ourselves matters—not because we’re chasing perfection, but because our bodies deserve kindness. For me, that looks like eating more plants, getting outside, moving my body, and yes… taking my daily wheatgrass.

I was honestly so touched that she includes Fresh Wheatgrass Girl as part of her wellness routine. That kind of recommendation means more to me than I can put into words because it comes from her own experience.

Today, if someone tells you you’re beautiful, strong, thoughtful, funny, or inspiring… try something different.
