Don't Outsource Dickinson Dining Services

As you may know, Dickinson Dining Services is being evaluated with the potential of being outsourced. This would mean another company would gain control of all aspects of Dickinson Dining Services. (DDS) The SNAR, the Quarry, the Caf, all of the food you eat would change. The only thing we can guarantee is that if the school outsources DDS, it would be cheaper for the school. t employment, dining hall size, would all be up for grabs. Nothing is guaranteed to get better, especially your bottom line at Dickinson. Could you imagine having no control over what you eat? Even now, DDS is working to make your eating experience better at Dickinson, everything from scouring over your feedback through surveys, to making mountains of ice cream for your enjoyment. Tell us what you want and you will get it. Tell another company what you want and they will laugh at you. Obviously there are problems with DDS as they stand, we all know that. Yet, for now, you have the ability to change them with your voice. If DDS is outsourced none of us will have the ability to make any decisions about food, not even the administration.
