It’s been a month and the update is only that both insurance companies are denying coverage, no help whatsoever. Now a lawyer is reviewing. Not great news at the moment.

While renovating an apartment above Cafe Bruges we discovered structural issues, which means we will be closed for safety. Unfortunately, this is not a quick repair; we are working with engineers, the borough, contractors and more. We plan to post often to keep everyone updated. Thank you for your compassion and support during this time. We were truly shocked to receive this information, not only for the community but for our tenants, employees, and ourselves.
