LONG POST, BUT PLEASE READ ALL!!!
Historically, July has been the month of monumental moves & big changes (personally).
11 years ago after graduating college, I moved to NYC in July 2013, to pursue a career in the corporate world of fashion. Loved that I was able to experience that fast paced, rat race(y), NY city lifestyle along w/ learning & networking w/ some incredible people who’ve taught me so many valuable tools throughout the years AND where I also met my now husband, but knew long term, that wasn’t for me.
6 years ago, we moved to Carlisle w/ the sole purpose of helping my sister, open Yak n Yeti II at the same time try to figure out how to slowly start expanding my dream of a vegan cheesecake business - not realizing it would have turned into an organic catering and vegan food truck business.
Fast forward to today, we have been so incredibly fortunate w/ the unexpected, yet insanely positive response from the community. The loyal customer base that continue to show up at every event & repeat orders for special birthdays/holidays, continue to amaze me. Not to mention, all of the small business owners who we have been able to connect & partner w/ over the years. Carlisle, you truly won my heart. Thank you.
It has taken me weeks to be able to regulate my emotions & then articulate into words that our little family (Hubby, Babe, two pup babies and Clem (our iconic orange trailer) will be RELOCATING to Virginia Beach at the end of July!
We are in the midst of literal chaos, but please believe we are doing our best to figure out the most economical way to ship so that we can continue our wholesale partnerships along w/ our ecommerce/direct to consumer orders for this area! In the meantime, we are working behind the scenes w/ commercial kitchen rentals & licenses within VA in order to be up & running as soon as possible.
OUR ABSOLUTE LAST MARKET/EVENT will proudly be at our home base location Farmers on the Square on July 17th. Our online ordering will be turned off on July 12th to give us some time before the move.
