The 2026 Briarbrook Junior Golf Program begins Monday June 22 at 6pm. The program is open to children ages 5-17 years old. The program features 5 sessions over the course of six weeks, and is intended to introduce youth golfers to basic golf fundamentals, all aspects of the game, and golf etiquette.

June 22 - Introduction and Orientation
Grip, Short Putts, and Chipping
June 29 - Posture and Alignment, Long Chips and Medium putts
July 6 - Mid-season break. (No Junior Program)
July 13 - Wedges, Pitching, and Lag Putting
July 20 - Woods and Review
July 27 - Pizza and Pool Party

Cost for the program is $100/child for Briarbrook Members/Residents, and $150/child for the public.

Congratulations Jack Spencer! Champion of the 57th Annual Briarbrook Invitational.

Jack holed a birdie putt on the final hole to shoot 207 and edge out Austin Hafner by one stroke.

Congratulations are also in order to Shawn Platner for successfully defending his title as Senior Division Champion with a score of 216.

Special thanks to the volunteers and maintenance staff that came out early this morning to dig out from the considerable storm damage overnight. Over a dozen trees were lost and countless damaged. Paired with several inches of rain, the prospects of holding the final round were in doubt. A testament to the spirit of the Briarbrook community, the efforts of these individuals made it possible to conduct this special event. Fitting that it would end in such dramatic fashion!

Last night's storms caused considerable damage to trees in all areas of the course.

Cart paths blocked by fallen trees and limbs at several points on the course.

Volunteers needed to help remove debris. Assemble at the clubhouse at 7:45 if you are available to help. Chainsaws, carts with utility beds and trailers needed.

Starting times for Round 3 of the Briarbrook invitational delayed by 30 minutes. Additional updates to follow...
