It’s been a bit since we posted and we have some news to share.

After so much deliberation and prayers, we have decided to lease Famos Grill in Carterville to one of our former kitchen staff employees. She and her family have BIG plans and we are thrilled for them!

The address and location for Famos Grill have been changed to our location in Carl Junction and you can still find us there! We have an updated menu we’ll be releasing soon!

If you haven’t yet, please go like our new page Famos Italian Smokehouse in Carl Junction! We’re open 7 days a week and we have lots of room now!

Thank you so much to our customers that have been with us since the beginning and thank you to our new ones that just found us! We appreciate your support so much!!!

When we purchased the building known as Famos Grill in December 2019, we never would have imagined how much would change between then and now. The global pandemic, renovations, and changes in our lives have been drastic. We have wonderful customers we call our family and can’t thank you enough for your support!

If you aren’t aware, the building Famos Grill is in is over 100 years old! It’s been patched and WORN OUT over the last 4 years. Please know that this decision wasn’t taken lightly, but we need close down to make some changes effective immediately. We aren’t sure when we’ll be able to open back up, but we will definitely let you all know!

In the meantime, you can still see us at Famos Italian Smokehouse in Carl Junction! (If you don’t like our other page, don’t forget to like and follow it!). Even better news, they’re open 7 days a week! Thank you again for all of your support!!!

Because we’ve now opened our location in Carl Junction, we need to have a policy change that will affect both locations. As of today, we will not be able to accommodate any tables over 8 people at Famos Grill in Carterville. We have plenty of room in Carl Junction at Famos Italian Smokehouse and we’d love to serve our large parties there!

Also, we will be modifying our hours at Famos Grill in Carterville to be Wednesdays through Sundays 11:00-8:00.
