This almost seems too silly to post... but I guess I'm in the mood for that 😉

We cannot even believe some of the rumors that we've heard about why we've temporarily closed.

We ignored them for awhile assuming that people would read what we told them previously, but the rumors are growing - evolving - mutating into some absolute ridiculousness.

So here we are to try and talk sense into those creating drama where there is none (Don't get me wrong, we know some of you are poorly caffeinated or sadly missing your favs...)

However (in my most authoritative mom voice)
That is NO excuse for making stuff up, or repeating false information.

Here are 3 absolute rumors we heard just this week:

▪︎ The new code enforcer shut them down. FALSE. (By the way, the new code enforcement officer has a name, Tim. He's very busy doing excellent work around town. Keep up the great work Tim!)

▪︎ Someone got sick on a sandwich 🫩 Girl please... you know this is FALSE.

▪︎ The health inspector closed them down. False. (We haven't seen Karen for many months, and she is very by the book and fair... and definitely has high expectations of her establishments, which we LOVE!)

Here's another that I'll say is not 100% false...

▪︎ Current costs are too high. Partial truth.
This is NOT the reason we're closed for a time, but we'll say current costs haven't helped at all.

•So we're going to say it again. LOUDER this time, for those in the back...

We are closed for awhile. There are a number of reasons which include: Restructuring the finances of our business, Finishing up some construction projects both at Home and at the Coffee shop, and to take some time to care for our Special Needs Children and maybe ourselves a little bit ~

(For those of you that don't know us well, we have 12 kids, mostly grown. At home we have 2 wheelchair bound children with high medical needs, and 1 son with intellectual impairment)

Here it is folks!
After hearing from you, we have reevaluated our menu offerings. We have added a great variety of breakfast and lunch offerings from our regular menu...
We know not everything made the cut, some items are just not feasible at this time.
However, there are MANY great options to choose from and we hope you might find something new if you don't see your favorite 😀
Effective tomorrow morning, all of these items will be available.
