Local Lore Farm

09/07/2026

I have been dreaming of this calendar for years and I finally got the immense privilege to put this together with generous support from The Neighborhood Co-op Grocery as a fundraiser for Food Works of Southern Illinois!

For years I've been envious of my friend's Southern Illinois Natural Events Calendar made by Todd Fink, Mary Avery and Mary Finley, now out of print.

This Food Works seasonal calendar features art from 13 local artists and a compilation of seasonal information from loves Noah Scalero, Courtney Smith, and me (with decades of information inspired from my lovely aunts of Lipe's Orchard Market)

It features artwork from several very dear friends and amazing artists and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! (It even features a font I made from a box of beloved vintage register stamps).

I hope you'll check it out and consider getting one! Its on sale at LEAF Food Hub and at the Neighborhood Coop.
