🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT: Wharf to Wharf Road Closures This Sunday! 🚨

Heading into Capitola Village this Sunday? Plan ahead! The annual Wharf to Wharf Race is here, which means several road closures and parking restrictions will be in place to keep our runners, volunteers, and spectators safe.

🚧 Key Details:
* When: Sunday morning starting as early as 5:00 AM (roads will reopen progressively after the race, typically by 12:00 PM–1:00 PM).
* Major Closures: Capitola Village (Esplanade, Stockton Ave, Wharf Rd), Cliff Drive, and sections of Capitola Road along with Capitola Ave at Hill St and Bay Ave at Hill St.
* Parking: No street parking along the race route. Village parking will be restricted during race hours—please obey all posted "No Parking" signs to avoid citations or towing.

🚗 Travel Tips:
* Expect heavy traffic and delays on Bay Avenue, 41st Avenue, and surrounding detours.
* If you're heading down to cheer on the runners, consider walking, biking, or arriving extra early!
