As the sun, set last night on The Cup of Joy I looked up at my beautiful building and reflected on my 9th season coming to a close. I wondered how many people have stood in that spot and done the same.

The summer season ending comes with so many emotions! Exhaustion, sadness, happiness, anxiety, peace to name just a few. This season has tested my strength more than I ever could imagine and here I was standing there thankful I got to be apart of it all.

I had an amazing crew this summer that I could not be more impressed by. Everyone even when absolutely exhausted from crazy weekends showed up to give great service with a "smile" even when they did not feel like smiling. I met new people and shared stories. I saw so many familiar faces from the seasons before. I was shocked by all the children that have spent their summers with me who are now grown, many taller then myself. And saddened that some that have left this world were not here to make summer memories with us anymore.

As fall creeps in slowly over our little town and more and more people will say their goodbyes Cup of Joy will still stand with our doors open 7 days a week ready to serve you all things delicious. I appreciate all who walk-through this door and support myself, my family, and our staff. Cheers to saying goodbye to August and hello September.

Good Morning and Happy Monday! With some of our staff heading back to school we are adjusting our hours a little early this year. Please note our new hours are:
Monday-Saturday
7:30-3:30
Sunday
8:00-3:00
