Meet George & Cindy Waters, who have been coming to the Chalfonte for 42 years. ❤️

Their story started with an ad for the Chalfonte in the food section of the newspaper. One visit turned into a summer tradition, lifelong friendships and more than four decades of memories.

Over the years, George and Cindy became close with Judy Bartella, Anne LeDuc, the Satterfield family, Dick Sattler and three other families who began returning to the Chalfonte every summer, each with a daughter around the same age as George and Cindy’s daughter Caitlin.

It’s a story that perfectly captures what makes the Chalfonte so special: generations of friendships, traditions and summers spent together on the porch.
