** Bakery Closure **
Today we celebrate…SweetSarah has been open for 6 years! Happy Anniversary 🥳 to us!!! Wow time has flown by so fast! Lori and I married on March 28, 2020 and opened SweetSarah on June 27th, 2020. We jumped right into this new adventure as newlyweds!
Now, with over 2,200 followers - to you, our customers who we call family and friends, we send a sad but thankful message to you as we prepare to close The SweetSarah Home Bakery.
At the end of business day today, June 27th, we will no longer be taking orders. All orders on our baking schedule for future dates will be honored, of course.
Over these past 6 years, Lori and I have worked full time day jobs and baked during the night and early morning hours. Some nights we would only get 2 hours of sleep and at times, no sleep. We dedicated ourselves to provide the best customer service and the best cakes, desserts and treats our hands could make. We are so proud of our accomplishments as we have poured our love for baking into your orders for your special occasions and for your family.
We all know there are different seasons in our lives. For the past year we have talked about this closure and knew it would come. As our home bakery has grown, for a while now, we have been at a point to where we have to scale back or open a storefront and leave our day jobs behind. Also, our teenagers are growing up and reaching their milestones and as we have other gifts/talents and things we would love to attempt, experience and accomplish, we feel this season of our life has come to an end. Maybe we will rest for a season but we look forward to what God has planned for us!
No, we are not laying down the baking aprons forever. We will bake as anyone would in daily life for holidays and friends/family. We will continue to make our special Hot Chocolate Bombs for Craft Bakery during the month of December. We will never Stop baking completely. How could we?
