📣 A little update from Okie Grazing!

Tomorrow will officially be my last day serving lunch at Mercantile on Main! 🥹🖤

I’ll be taking the rest of the week off from lunch service so I can put all my time and energy into getting our new storefront ready for our GRAND OPENING this Saturday! 🎉 We are SO close, and I cannot wait to finally open those doors for you!

But don’t worry — I’m not leaving you hanging for lunch! The fridge at the Mercantile will be stocked with fresh Okie Grazing sandwiches and salads throughout the week, so you can still swing by and grab something yummy. 🥪🥗

And just because Okie Grazing and the Mercantile won’t be under the same roof anymore doesn’t mean the fun is stopping! 😉 We already have some really fun collaborations in the works, including a Girls’ Night that I think you’re going to LOVE! 🛍️✨

This isn’t goodbye — it’s just both of us growing and finding even more fun ways to work together. 🖤

Now, we’re not going to give away all the details just yet… but we’ll leave you with a little teaser. 👀

Let’s just say our upcoming Girls’ Night may involve a little charcuterie, some beautiful fresh flowers, and a whole lot of fun. 🧀🍇💐🥂

First off, I just want to apologize for the craziness this week! I have been very big on consistency with my shop and I feel like I have been anything but that recently and next week I have two or three more appointments again. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I do appreciate everyone’s patience while I keep up with my own self care and my girls! ❤️
On a side note, a lot of people have noticed that Violet has not been at the shop recently, she is going through her first heat, which I have decided will be her last! I’m not doing that again! 😬😂. But along with that, last night when we got home, Cody and I noticed that her eye was cloudy and matted and there was a spot on it. 😭 So at 8:30 we made the trip to Edmond to the Vet Urgent Care to get it checked out. It turns out she has a scratch on her eye and an ulcer around it, after some numbing medicine, dye, and exam, she is going to be OK!!!! We got some medicine and a cone and she is safe and sound at home and when she is back to normal I will have her back at the shop greeting people a keeping watch out the door! Thank you to everyone who loves my Violet as much as I do! 💜

I will not be able to open until later this afternoon. My daughter’s appointment took longer than expected and I have several errands to run for the shop! I should be there no later than 3, just look for the flags! Thank you for everyone’s patience this week with appointments.

Now that I don't have my morning barista anymore, I will have to close sometimes when my daughters or I have an appointment, it just so happens, all three of us have appointments this week. I contemplated cancelling so I wouldn't have to close three different times, but as most know, it is not easy to reschedule appointments with specialists within a timely manner, so I apologize for the crazy hours this week, but it shouldn't affect lunch with Okie Grazing and we will be open for the after-school ice cream rush!

Today has been a day!! I just got home a little bit ago from a very exhausting, but fulfilling day!!!

Today was full of excitement! The Homecoming Parade, (I got to see my daughter with her class!) The after school rush, the football players fist bumping me and making sure I was going to be at the game, the cheerleaders all pretty and perfect in their uniforms and the younger kids just taking in all the excitement and getting to enjoy some ice cream! I also had the privilege of making the corsage, boutonnière and bouquets for the Homecoming court!
After I dropped off the flowers I helped in the concession stand for the first half of the game. I was able to see maybe the last 10 minutes of the game then I rushed back to the shop to reopen for after the game. We didn’t have a big crowd, but we did get to serve the homecoming queen and some of the foot ball boys came in.

Overall it was a wonderful day!! I am exhausted, but I love what I do and I love serving the people of this and surrounding communities.

Thank you for all the support that I am shown on a daily basis. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
