In 1980, Pallas and Sonny Wang came to Michigan to start their first restaurant business in Canton. Sonny worked in the kitchen with a chef and Pallas worked the front along with her mother and sisters. In the years that followed, Sze-Chuan Restaurant earned a loyal following and a reputation as a great Chinese restaurant. Sze-Chuan expanded to seat 150 in 1986 and now serves third generation Sze-Chuan lovers.
