It's the weekend, Canon City, and you know what that means. Steak special at the Royal Gorge Brew Pub & Restaurant! This weekend we are doing Grilled 13oz Ribeye with Potato Croquette and Broccolini. We are still doing fried pickles with sriracha ranch sauce (actually, we're never going to stop), and our delicious tuna melt is back. You won't find a better one anywhere. Come on out and enjoy our new brew and a steak dinner!

Hey Canon City! Here's your weekly reminder about Open Mic, hosted tonight and every Thursday from 6pm - 8pm by Paul Hallman. For specials we have a delicious (seriously, the best ever) Tuna Melt with House-Made Potato Chips, and since we got in some awesome pickles today we're offering Fried Pickles with Sriracha Ranch Sauce. Of course we will have our weekend steak night special; I'll get back to you on that tomorrow. Come on out and have some cold beers and hot delicious food!

Don't forget, tonight (Thursday) is Open Mic Night hosted by Paul Hallman from 6 - 8pm. Bring your instrument and your voice and sing us a few songs! Now is when I would usually announce the steak special for the weekend, but I'm still deciding what it's going to be. We like to do things fresh here, so sometimes a special is undecided until the last minute! Last weekend we had Grilled Ribeye with Wild Mushroom Risotto and Summer Squash, and it was a hit. Oh, and here's the biggest news of all - our brew is almost ready! More to come...

Well hey there, Canon City. It's been a little while since you've heard from us on Facebook. That's because you guys have been keeping us so busy I can barely keep up with anything outside the kitchen! As with every Thursday, tonight is Open Mic Night hosted by Paul Hallman. The official time is 6pm - 8pm, but we've been going later than that the last few weeks. On Friday night we start this week's steak special, which we will keep going through Monday. Everyone loves our fried mushrooms so much that we decided to do a steak and shroom special - Grilled 13oz Ribeye with Fried Mushrooms and Horseradish Cream Sauce. Come on out!

Musicians! Join us for great food, beer, and music at Open Mic every Thursday from 6pm to 8pm! Last Thursday we had a blast and kept it going until 10:00, which will keep happening as long as you guys keep coming out to play!

Y'know what, Canon City? You guys are awesome. I forgot to even advertise that we are now open on Mondays, yet our first Monday was way busier than we would have expected even with advertising! Our updated hours of operation are Thursday - Monday, 11:30am - 10:00pm. Musicians, come on out Thursday night for Open Mic from 6 to 8pm. And this weekend's steak night special (Friday and Saturday nights) is Grilled New York Strip with Bourbon Glazed Onions, Roasted Corn on the Cob with Green Chile Butter, and Poblano Cheddar Mashed Potatoes.

Thank you for another super busy weekend, Canon City! We are having some issues getting all of our info changed on social media, so I want to let you know what our hours of operation are. We are open Thursday through Sunday, from 11:30am - 10:00pm. We will start opening for late nights in a few weeks. And we know everyone is excited about our brew; we're looking to have it ready about the second week of June or so. Until then we have lots of great choices of Colorado beers, and a full bar. And this Friday and Saturday our weekend steak nights will feature grilled New York strip! You will not get a steak this good anywhere else in Canon City. Last but not least, don't forget we have Open Mic Night hosted by Paul Hallman every Thursday from 6pm - 8pm. Come sing us a song!

Join us this Mother’s Day for prime rib, scalloped potato tower, and asparagus with soup or salad and free mimosas for Mom! And although we usually like to make food you can eat with your hands, on Friday and Saturday nights we like to pull out the forks and knives for our hand-cut ribeye special. With Open Mic on Thursday from 6 to 8pm, Foggiest Notion rocking out live on Saturday night from 6 to 9pm, Mother’s Day on Sunday, and weekend steak nights, it’s going to be an eventful weekend here at Royal Gorge Brew Pub & Restaurant. Last weekend you only got a taste of what we have to offer. This weekend we introduce our full menu. Come join us, and bring your dog! We have a menu for furry family members too!

If you live in Canon City, then chances are you’ve heard about our reboot here at Royal Gorge Brew Pub & Restaurant. What you probably don’t know is the extent of the changes we’re making, and how AWESOME this place is going to be when we open for business on Thursday, May 3. Chef Jason Smith from Canon Royal Event Center has taken the reins with his own hand-picked team of seasoned restaurant and brewing professionals, and we are reimagining and shaping this place into what a brew pub should be. First of all, WE WILL BE BREWING OUR OWN BEER, in addition to offering a much larger selection of Colorado brews. The menu is completely new, with the kind of delicious comfort food that you want to eat while you’re drinking beer. We’ve built a patio, where we offer a dog menu for your four-legged friends. We will have lots of music. Sometimes live, always loud. The weekly open mic will continue. We also have a game room. We will be open late, like a bar should be.

We’re making so many great changes that I can’t even list them all. Come check us out when we open on May 3. We can’t wait to see you!
