Happy Birthday, America! Our country feels like it's in a weird place right now and I don't want this to turn into a long, political post. I just know that celebrating another year is better than the alternative. And I'm grateful that I don't have a British accent!

We were nominated for Best of Asheville in a ridiculous number of categories. (We were allowed to nominate ourselves)

Some of them make perfect sense: Best Fried Chicken, Best Fried Fish, Best Steak, Best Southern Food, Best Burger, Best Sandwiches, Best Specialty Cocktails.

Some of them are a little more optimistic and fun (Best Outdoor Dining).

Look who's making a fry-umphant return!! Our bulgogi fries are back on the menu. A bowl of fries covered with bulgogi marinated beef, kimchi, roasted garlic aioli, and scallions.

We secretly put them back on the menu last week and we've already made one person very happy.

Also, it is Tuesday. If the bulgogi fries aren't enough to convince you, we do have our 2-2-2-2-2-2-2 Tuesday deal.
