I have had a few inquiries about the new "Floor Turtle" that recently hit the crafting pages/reels. Simply, it's a crocheted cotton creation to wipe up small spills with (yes) your foot. Checking it out I found a call for testers for Weavin Weaver's upcoming release - Toast/Bacon/Fried Egg pattern set, and was chosen to test the Toast or Fried Egg. Yes. This is a slice of toast that you can drop on the floor to wipe up a spill or drips.

I also received the Fried Egg pattern to test for him and I'm waiting to find out if I'll be getting the Bacon.

In the meantime, I will order his Floor Turtle pattern.

Vendors who sell at outdoor markets are at the mercy of the weather - rain, wind, extreme heat... Fabric artisans have a added dilemma - rain & high humidity - our products are basically sponges. Even though I was under a covered pavillion and not directly in the rain, all of my product and my double-layered table covers were damp by the time I packed up. To avoid mildew/mold I laid everything out last evening to air dry and the table covers went into the dryer. This morning I flipped everything and have fans running. THIS is why I don't care to do outdoor markets/shows.
