There’s an open window in our Common Grounds space right now — the kind that lets the breeze roll through and quietly announces, “Something good is on the way.”
And that “something good” is Speakeasy Coffee Shop & Cafe , who is officially in the final‑inspection, almost‑there, everyone‑hold‑your‑mugs stage of opening their doors at Canal Creative. We’ve heard it won’t be much longer, and yes… we’re buzzing about it!
If you want to be the first to know when that open window becomes an open door (and when the espresso starts flowing), make sure you’re following Speakeasy Coffee Shop & Cafe.
Because honestly? We’re obsessed with what’s happening here — the melting of community, creativeness, and coffee all coming together at Canal Creative. It feels like the start of something warm, welcoming, and wonderfully caffeinated!

We will then be closed next week to move and will announce our grand opening of The Speakeasy Coffee Shop & Cafe at Canal Creative 311 High St NE super soon so, stay tuned friends 😎☕✌

We have some super exciting news to share with you friends.......The Speakeasy Coffee Shop is MOVING!!!!! 😊🥳❤

Our last day here is Saturday, July 25th (6a - 6p). Almost 11 years here at 128 N Canal have been amazing, and it is thanks to each and every one of you that have made it truly amazing and possible. I personally want to thank you for all of the love, encouragement, prayers, support, and loyalty ❤

It is time for a bigger space and a fresh start, and that is exactly what we are doing by moving Speakeasy Coffee Shop & Cafe to...............The Common Ground at Canal Creative 😍🙏

We cannot wait for you to see what an awesome adventure this is going to be. The space is absolutely stunning, and the entire Canal Creative crew are friends, leaders, dreamers and doers, and we are truly blessed to be making this move to join the great that they encompass.

Canal Creative is already the perfect place representing community and creativity and the new Speakeasy Coffee Shop & Cafe is going to be the gathering hub to compliment everything exciting happening there. We can't wait to welcome you.

Good morning friends! With the street in front of (and all around) us closed, we would like to offer you a prime spot to park so you can still grab your favorite drink and snack for the next few days :)

The three spots directly behind the shop are for CUSTOMER USE while Canal Days is happening out front.

We are open regular hours Friday and Saturday (6a-6p) and Sunday (8-3). See you soon 😎☕❤
