Ok. Here is our exciting news! 🤫 🥰

We have a CHEF! 👨‍🍳

We’re still the VFW. But the food? Yea, it's about to get a little upgrade.

We’re excited to welcome our new chef, Josh Harper, who brings 30 years of experience as a Certified Executive Chef. He's been a member of the American Culinary Federation, has been featured in six magazines, and has owned several restaurants over the years.

His plan for the VFW is simple: bring in some great new food and ideas while keeping the things everyone already loves.

Burger Night and Wing Night are staying. But you’ll also start seeing rotating nightly specials, home-cooked classics and some really good meals coming out of our kitchen.

This one is a little more personal for Josh, too. He grew up here, and since coming back and opening Cozy Cottage Market with Terri Pugh, he’s fallen in love with Canal Fulton all over again. He’s always been a strong supporter of veterans and appreciates everything the VFW does, so this just felt like the right fit.

He gets to bring some new food to the community, and we get to see what happens when you put an executive chef in a VFW kitchen! 🔪🧑‍🍳

Stay tuned. The kitchen is about to get interesting!
