Every morning at Blue Harbor House Inn starts with local Maine.

Flowers from Golden Brook Farm~Camden Maine Flower Farm, Wedding Florist. Coffee from Dan Dishner. Blueberry jam from Maine Maple Products. Butter from Kate's Butter. And the rolls — made with our own sourdough starter.

Maiden Cliff, last week. Coffee to-go, legs over the edge, beautiful Megunticook Lake spread out underfoot.

Five minutes from the inn, two miles out and back — we try to get out on trails like this as much as we can. Feels only fair if we’re going to keep recommending them to guests. ☺️

If you’re new here: breakfast at Blue Harbor House Inn is kind of a big deal. It starts with a bread course — Greg’s sourdough — then a light first course, then a heartier second. Today’s first course: watermelon feta salad with wild Maine blueberries, balsamic glaze, and mint. Guests rave about this one every time.

🌸 cooling off at the Megunticook Lake — full swim or just your legs in
