Good evening, everyone.

Today is a truly special moment for me, and I want to begin by simply saying thank you. Thank you for Voting for us.

Buying Wendy’s is about much more than acquiring a company. It is being apart of our community. It’s about becoming part of something that has meant so much to so many people. Behind every restaurant, every meal, and every customer is a team of hardworking people who make it all possible. Thank you to my employees  for helping me make Wendy’s great local restaurant. I love you guys. I could not do it without all of you.

I want to thank the franchisees leaders, coaches and everyone who has helped build Wendy’s into what it is today.

My promise is to respect that legacy while looking toward the future. I want Wendy’s to remain a place where people feel welcome, where employees are valued, and where customers can continue to enjoy the food.

Most of all, I want to say thank you for trusting me with this opportunity. I’m incredibly grateful, incredibly humbled, and incredibly excited about what we can accomplish together.

Here’s to the people who built Wendy’s, the people who make it special today, and everyone who will help write its next chapter.
