Today is a very important day around here…

It’s Allie's birthday! 🎉

If you know The Social, you know Allie. She is our manager, co-owner, steady hand, creative mind, problem solver, coffee shop mom, and the person who keeps so much of this place moving every single day.

She is on vacation for a couple more days, so we won’t embarrass her too much in person today. But when we asked what she wanted for her birthday, she said she just wants everyone to enjoy The Social.

So that is your assignment.

Come grab a coffee, bring a friend, hang out for a while, support the team, and help us celebrate Allison the best way possible: by filling the place she pours so much of herself into.

And when she is back on Wednesday, make sure you stop in and wish her a very happy belated birthday.

This morning, we had a situation at The Brickhouse Social that we needed some help with, and we just want to take a minute to thank the Cambridge Police Department.

They got there quickly, handled everything calmly, and helped de-escalate the situation in a way that kept our staff, customers, and shop safe.

We know that’s their job, but we also know it’s not always an easy one. We really appreciate the way they showed up for us and for our downtown this morning.

So, as a small thank you, we dropped off some fresh brewed coffee at the department.

Thank you to the Cambridge Police Department. We appreciate you and the work you do for our community.
