Good Morning, I first want to apologize for not updating you all more often. Dad’s recovery so far has been like a roller coaster ride that I didn’t even buy a ticket for. We started out strong, and things were going great, then the stomach issues came back, worse than before the surgery, making recovery much more difficult. Yesterday morning things were looking up, he was able to eat, and was feeling much better.
We had planned to open the diner on Friday. Now things have gotten worse, and he again is unable to eat. The hospital is doing some testing right now to see what is going on, and what our best option is to get him some nourishment.
Once we have the test results, and a plan in place, I will update you all on the planned opening date.
We simply cannot afford to order, and prepare food that may have to be given away, or wasted again.
I do not want to open too soon, if there is a chance that we may have to close again.
I can’t put into words how much all of your prayers, support, and understanding mean to me, my family, and our diner family.

Good afternoon everyone! Surgery went well! Recovery will be a long road due to Dads past medical history, but with the power of prayer we trust that The Lord will take care of him and all of his needs. I can not put into words how much all of your love, prayers, thoughts, understanding, and support mean to not only myself, and my Dad, but to my entire family! I have love in my heart for each and every one of you!! We will be staying in Columbus for a bit. I will update you all as I am updated.
Again, thank you all so so much! You are all greatly appreciated!!!

I’m sitting here with Dad. The procedure is scheduled for early tomorrow morning. I was telling him about all of your prayers, and well wishing. He wanted me to tell you all thank you so much you are all greatly appreciated. We know the Lord is listening, and he will be with us!

To all my loyal customers whom I call family .
My family and I thank you for all of your prayers and support with the recent flooding of the diner and now the on going health issues with my father .

At this time we are waiting for the surgical team to give the green light on a risky procedure involving my father‘s heart. Myself our family would appreciate the continued prayers for my father and all of us during this time .

The diner will be closed for the time being .

Good Evening Everyone. I hope that you’re all doing well! I was trying to get a post out this morning, but I ran out of time, and we got busy.
My Dad is currently in Columbus, dealing with a very serious medical issue. We will be open tomorrow Sunday August 30th regular hours, however we will be closed on Monday August 31st, and Tuesday September 1st.
I have to go be with my Dad!

Good Sunday Morning Everyone! Just wanted to give an update. We are currently still closed, and cleaning! Our plan is to reopen on Thursday August 27th.
If any of you were planning to stop by this afternoon to see River, wish him luck, give him advice, or just harass him one more time before he takes off, you are welcome to do so between 3-4:30 pm. Unfortunately, we will not be having a party. Hopefully things will be running smoothly in December when he returns, and we can have more of a welcome home party then.
Thank you again to everyone who has reached out, to everyone that has supported us through every mountain we’ve had to climb, and every hiccup along the way!
Huge thank you to everyone that was here, feet in the mud, helping clean up. When I say we are blessed here, that doesn’t even begin to cover the appreciation, the gratefulness, and the overall love we feel, for and from you all! We had customers come to eat, see what was going on, and just jump in helping, even going back because they had something that would help. The employees, family, customers, and friends. Some of our vendors were calling to see if they could help, holding our orders, and offering their coolers.
