MBA Spring Recruitment starts this Sunday!

The MIT Minority Business Association serves to empower underrepresented minorities, such as women and minority racial groups, in business by providing a space to gain the skills necessary to lead and succeed in their business careers.

1. Network – Our sponsors include many top companies such as McKinsey, Goldman etc that would like to tap into the talent of the MIT community. As a minority focused group, we have access to traditional summer internships, as well as special opportunities for minorities in business that can range from 1 day to 10 weeks in length.

2. Grow – With numerous members that have worked for the likes of McKinsey, Bain, BCG, NASDAQ, Accenture Strategy, Morgan Stanley, Google, and Microsoft, we offer a range of expertise in some of the hardest industries to pe*****te.

3. Give Back– To properly address the systemic issues that justify the need for MBA in the first place, we also promote philanthropic initiatives to give back to our communities. This includes outreach programs to minority high school students in the greater Boston area, as well as partnering with companies working with developing communities both in the US and abroad.

Our very first GBM was a success! Thanks to all those who came out.

At yesterday's meeting we welcomed the inaugural class of members to the MBA! Our members got to enjoy some thai food while discussing what they'd like to learn and see from our four committees on Entrepreneurship, Global Development, Consulting, and Finance. Here are some photos from the event!
