Ever craved Yume udon towards the end of eating hot pot? Well here is your chance to taste that pairing.
We will be debuting our new dish this Sunday night from 4:00-6:30PM.
Details:
Mala Spice Style Hot Pot Udon $21
Toppings: YGA beef, Negi, Tenkasu, Dried Shrimp, Enoki, Fried Tofu, Bok Choy, Onsen Egg
Extra beef and noodles options will be available.

Special Pop Up Alert! This Sunday (9/3) from 4-6:30PM we will be open for a Special Pop-Up Service. We will be serving a Spicy Mala Udon and our Musashino Udon, which is our dipping style udon. This is the first of a series of pop up’s that are inspired by our chef recent Tokyo Travels. The Spicy Mala Udon is a warm mixing noodle that includes a house made mala chili oil. Toppings will feature beef, bok choy, onsen egg and an option for cilantro. We will also be bringing back our dipping style udon that will come with a concentrated broth topped with beef, menma, fried tofu, and enoki mushrooms. Both dishes will start at $21, with the option of adding extra beef and extra noodles for both. We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!

Posted • Most of us have memories of being encouraged to finish everything on our plates as a kid. When you did, your loved ones would commend you on doing a good job!

At in Cambridge, MA this motivation to clean your plate lives on.

Once you finish your meal, the staff yells either a “Perfect job!” (there’s nothing left), “Good job!” (some noodles/broth remaining), “Almost!” (you got a whole meal there!), or “Next time!” (well, you get the point).

This practice was inspired by the passing of Chef Nishioka’s close friend to su***de. He realized his loss wasn’t an isolated incident, but part of an epidemic in Japan.

“For young people, they’re afraid of failing. They think they always need to succeed, and if they fail, there is no reason to live for the future”.

Chef’s message is a simple, but powerful reminder to someone who may need it: “If you can finish your bowl, you can achieve your dream.”

This Sunday (8/6) will be our final Sunday Dinner Special of the Summer! We will be bringing back two fan favorites:
Musashino Udon (Classic and Spicy Version) - Our dipping style udon that features a concentrated dashi broth with our savory beef, sliced pork belly, fried tofu, and enoki mushrooms
Biang Biang Mazesoba - Our dry noodle dish that gets its flavor from a soy and vinegar sauce, as well as pouring hot oil over aromatics and chilies.

Details:
Hours: 4-7PM or sold out
Musashino Udon: $21. Extra noodles and extra extra noodles. Double and Triple beef options.

At YGA you will be immersed in Japanese culture and language.

This demanding opportunity will provide top notch skills to be used in noodle restaurants and beyond.

This is a perfect opportunity to learn beginner knife skills, learn basic prep, and have the opportunity to learn the Japanese art of Udon noodle making.

We provide training for FOH and BOH with a level of service that is acceptable in Japan.

These skills will provide a base and work ethic that is applicable in any setting.

New employees will be exposed to a face-paced work environment and have the chance to learn various recipes that surpass quality found across the USA and Japan.
