Royal East is known in Cambridge for our delicious Malaysian and Chinese cuisine. Established in 1985 as a Chinese fine-dining restaurant, Royal East originally gained prominence for our Szechuan and Cantonese dishes. Later, we expanded our menu to include authentic Malaysian cuisine. Malaysian food brings a unique blend of influences from China, India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Arab world.

The flavors are unique and incredible: there really is nothing else like it. Our dining room is large, over 4000 square feet, yet our guests always say that it is cozy and welcoming. Our servers have been with us for years, and they are more than happy to guide you through our extensive menu.
