📚 July Book Club 📚

Join us Thursday, July 2nd at 6:30pm as we discuss The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin.

Our Book Club focuses on stories rooted in the Pacific Northwest—books that help us better understand the land we live on and the people who have called it home. Set in the early 20th-century Northwest, The Orchardist follows William Talmadge, a solitary orchardist whose quiet life is forever changed when he takes in two pregnant runaway girls. What unfolds is a moving and heartbreaking story of family, resilience, loss, and redemption.

Whether you finished the book cover-to-cover, only made it a few chapters in, or read it years ago, you’re welcome to join the conversation. Grab a drink, meet fellow readers, and share your thoughts.

📖 Looking ahead: In August we’ll be changing things up with Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner, a powerful memoir exploring Korean-American identity, family, grief, and the ways food connects us to memory, culture, and the people we love.

We had so much fun at our first Sparkle Hype Party last night and we are keeping the fun rolling this morning; doors open at 11am for Drag Brunch! We have a couple tickets left available so order them online or be the first to show up to grab the seats in person! $30/person includes the buffet brunch brought to us by Drop The Mic and the two hour show brought to us by Rogue Apostles Entertainment!
