October 9 is Idaho’s PANDAS/PANS Awareness Day. PANDAS and PANS are real conditions where a child’s brain can change almost overnight after an infection. It’s estimated to affect about 1 in 200 kids and is still frequently missed or dismissed.

Gianna “Gigi” Coulter of Melba has been living this fight for years. Her family has gone public so other Idaho kids don’t have to battle insurance companies alone for treatments like IVIG that can actually help. That’s why this rally is also for Gianna’s Bill, so medically necessary care isn’t reserved for the families who can afford to fight or leave the state.

If you can make it, show up. Bring your kids. Wear green if you have it. Numbers matter when lawmakers and insurers are watching.
