An update on a story we put out last month. A family who suffered a loss of life and loss of a business got to reopen their restaurant in Caldwell this week. Drea's Kitchen is now open on Hwy 21, attached to the Ebony Essence School of Hair Design.

To reasons out of my control Drea's Kitchen was closed as of 1-26-21. I have not cooked since that day. We are not at 1206 Hwy 21 in Caldwell. I understand that supporters have been coming and looking to support the children and I'm sorry we have no part in the business that is there now. I appreciate all the love,and prayers for my family and the babies that have been affected by the recent passing of my sister and her husband . I'm so sorry I didn't get a message to our family of loyal customers sooner. Right now we are working towards getting back open soon. Thanks again love you all, Andrea Jackson. Good afternoon to my family of customers, just wanted to let everyone know a little of whats going on. In a matter of 22 days I have lost my sister, her husband and my brothers wife. My sister left 4 young souls for me to care for and they need my undivided attention as they go through this difficult time in their young lives. As soon as we get her final needs met I will open the restaurant back up. Thank you for your continued prayers Andrea Jackson.

Well y'all have been asking or shall I say demanding lol, that we get a bigger place, so as sad as I am to pause cooking for all of you were working on an expansion.
