We didn't win but we felt VERY proud to represent Brunswick County at the EAT MYR event. Hundreds of people got to try The Awakened Bacon and we had a Blast and give back to the communitythroughbthe charity event. A special thanks to Joe, Keith, AJ, Matt, Cherie and my kids for being there but even more importantly for the rest of the team that held down the fort at Toasted during a busy rush.

Exciting news. Long story short, which you know I'mnot good at, I started asking everyone and the Homefries have won. The only reason I made the change was so many people said they loved the hashrounds when they accidentally got sent several months ago. But after asking hundreds of people for the last few weeks it was extremely lopsided so we have changed back to the homefries. I'll see you this weekend. Sorry i ever changed.

Oh yeah, Candied bacon wrapped green beans are on the dinner menu every night now.

We will be the only Brunswick County restaurant at the 2nd annual EAT MYR event at The Boathouse. We have been invited to the event because we did get our start in NMB and won several food festivals there before winning 2025 Best Overall Taste of Calabash. You have to win you division (Entrées, dessert..ect) to be invited back so hopefully we can keep crashing the party. Wish us luck. Thank you Andy Kemp. 😊
