❤️ ONE COMMUNITY. ONE FAMILY. ONE FIGHT. ❤️
hey friends! we just wanted to give an update on our last fund raiser for sweet little Miguel. Sometimes it takes a difficult situation to remind us just how special our community truly is.
During little Miguel’s fight with leukemia, our community came together in an incredible way to show love, support, prayers, and generosity to Miguel and his family. What started as an effort to help one family quickly became something much bigger—a community standing together as one.
Miguel’s mother wanted us to share a message with everyone who has supported them. She said she is completely overwhelmed by the amount of love that has been shown to her Miguel and her family. She wanted everyone to know just how much your kindness, prayers, donations, encouragement, and support have meant to them during this difficult journey.
I want to give some special thank you’s to the folks who went the extra mile to help make this possible. Eric Walden Greta Harrison Cary Bishop, Cox Pharmacy, 1st and broad pizza co., United national bank, first national Bank, Joel Singletary’s daughter Morgan Singletary , Courtney ladd, Phillip drew, Allison fletcher, and Stacey and Finley green GCSO & BUBBLY BEES. thank you for sharing the load and helping make such an impact on a little boy’s recovery and his family’s lives. this isn’t just about cooking food, or raising money for a good cause. it’s about fellowship, pulling together for each other and helping our neighbors when they need it most.
From the bottom of her heart, THANK YOU. ❤️
To everyone who purchased a ticket, donated, shared a post, offered a prayer, made a purchase, volunteered their time, or simply checked on the family—please know that you made a difference.
This is what community is all about. Not just being there during the good times, but standing shoulder to shoulder when one of our own needs us most.
Miguel, you have an entire community behind you. Keep fighting, little man! 💪❤️
Grady County, you once again showed what happens when we come together.
Please continue to keep Miguel and his family in your thoughts, prayers, and hearts as they continue this fight.
From Miguel’s family: THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! ❤️🙏
