This Weekend’s Dinner Specials 🍽️

We’re dressing things up a little for dinner this weekend.

🥩 14 oz Arkansas Ribeye
Grass-fed Arkansas beef from Double B Ranch, beautifully seared and finished with house chimichurri. Tender, juicy, and served with a baked potato and lemon-garlic asparagus.

🐟 Grilled Salmon
Grilled salmon finished in a rich lemon-butter sauce, served with a baked potato and lemon-butter asparagus. Simple, bright, and just fancy enough to make you feel like you’ve got your life together.

🥔 Loaded Baked Potato
A big baked potato loaded with butter, Arkansas bacon, and sour cream. Classic comfort food done the Buckman way.

🔥 Birria Loaded Baked Potato
Our baked potato piled high with slow-cooked birria and all that rich, savory goodness. It’s a meal pretending to be a side.

Available for dinner only this weekend at Buckman Brewhouse.

Come hungry. This ain’t the weekend for a light snack.

Why did Chris put salt in Salt Lick?

Because apparently putting lime in a beer wasn’t enough for him.

Salt Lick is our salt & lime beer, and that little bit of salt is there for a reason. Salt doesn’t just make things taste salty. In the right amount, it can enhance other flavors, soften the perception of bitterness and make bright flavors like lime pop a little more.

Think about putting salt on watermelon or around the rim of a margarita. You’re not trying to make either one taste like the ocean. You’re using just enough to make everything else taste better.

That’s what Chris was going for with Salt Lick. Bright lime. A little salinity. Crisp, refreshing beer.

And no, Chris isn't standing over the fermenter with a Morton saltshaker saying, “That looks about right.” There’s a little more science involved than that.

That’s the fun part of craft beer. Every ingredient has a job. Even the salt.

💜Buckman Family Wednesday: Meet Maegan💜

Today we’re celebrating ONE YEAR of Maegan! 🎉

Maegan started with us way back in the cottage bakery days, baking out of our home. Somewhere along the way, she discovered she had a real knack for cinnamon rolls, and y’all... we may have created a monster.

Since then, she’s made hundreds of rolls and dreamed up all kinds of flavors. Apple Sticky Bunz, Blueberry, Strawberry, Cookies & Cream, Brownie Lovers, and plenty more that have disappeared from the bakery case faster than we could make them.

Maegan is fun, creative, and brings a whole lot of light to our back of house. The purple hair probably should’ve been our first clue. 💜

A few things about Maegan:

Favorite Buckman dish: Chicken Focaccia + grilled mushrooms
Favorite thing about working here: “The knowledge I’ve gained.”
Favorite cinnamon roll: Apple Sticky Bunz 🍎
What she wants to make next: A big ol’ fat chocolate cake like the one from Matilda. 😂🍫

We’ve watched Maegan learn, experiment, and grow from our little cottage bakery into the baker she is today, and we’re mighty glad she’s part of the Buckman family.

Now we wanna hear from y’all: What’s your favorite Buckman cinnamon roll flavor you’ve had so far?

Drop it in the comments and help us show Maegan some love for her one-year Buckman anniversary! 💜

Why do we make things the hard way?

Because we want to know what’s in our food.

Really know.

We read labels on the ingredients we bring into our kitchen. We look for artificial colors, artificial flavors, high fructose corn syrup and ingredients we just don’t think need to be there.

And when we can’t find something that meets our standards?

Well... apparently, we just make it ourselves.

We bake our own sourdough.
We make our own pickles.
We make our sauces and dressings.
Heck, we even make our own ketchup.

Is it easier? Absolutely not.

But we wanted Buckman to be a place where food is made from real, recognizable ingredients. The kind of stuff you’d expect to find in a kitchen, not an ingredient list you need a chemistry degree to read.

We’re not perfect, and we’re always looking for ways to do things better. But we check the labels. We ask questions. And we care about what goes into the food we serve our own families and yours.

Sometimes that means doing things the hard way.

Around here, we think it’s worth it.
