Why am I in the kitchen at 8 in the morning chopping chicken and making turkey wings…?

For a moment, I lost myself in the sauce.

Then I saw Jeannie from FGT Centerville manager…
and suddenly remembered…

“Ah yes… my name is Mary.”

Once again today, our restaurant is fresh chopping everything by hand and doing absolutely everything ourselves. 😂

At this point, my wrist is no longer part of my body… it has officially resigned. 🔪😭

Today I’m working with TWO bosses — Candice and Tanya — so please pray for me 😂

My longtime friend Grace is working with us too, which makes me feel a little safer.

Since it’s been a while since I worked, if I make mistakes today… I’m pretty sure I’ll get professionally roasted by both bosses 😅
But I promise I’ll work hard and make sure everyone leaves happy and smiling! ^^

The best part?
I’m NOT in the kitchen cutting vegetables today, so honestly… life is beautiful 🥬🔪😂

Grateful to be working, laughing, and surviving another shift today.
And on this Memorial Day, sending heartfelt thanks and respect to all the soldiers who served and sacrificed for us 🇺🇸
