We offer dairy free, soft serve, hard serve, specialty sundaes, shakes and flurries. Houseman's Ice Cream is located in the heart of Byron Center, just east of the of Kent bike trail. Good afternoon!

Back to school is in full swing! We look forward to seeing the the students after school and the sporting events!

Congrats to the Byron Center Bulldogs and the South Christian Sailors with the recent wins over Hudsonville and Grand Rapids Christian!

Strawberry Dole Whip is in the machine and tastes so good!

Several traditional flavors are not available from the distributor, so we have replaced them with some alternates.

Traverse Bay Cherry has been replaced with Ashby's Amarreto Cherry and Homemade Cherry Cordial.

Tennessee Toffee is not available, so we are looking at replacing it with Moville's Sorta Sweet Sorta Beth Dutton or Ashby's Banana Cream Pie. Drop a comment is you have a preference!

Good afternoon, another beautiful Michigan Day is upon us!

We have switched to orange dole whip this week. We will run this for two weeks and switch to a new flavor. If you want a choice in the next flavor, please post your fave!

Mooville's "I'll be your huckleberry!" is still in stock, but soon to be gone. Get it while you still can!

Ashby's Blueberry Burst is in for a limited time and bursting with flavor!

We hope everyone if off to a great start today!

We are thankful for the much-needed rain! It looks like the clouds are going to clear out and sunshine is on the way! (We're not meteorologist, so we shall see)

For a limited time, and to pay tribute to the end of the Blueberry season, we will be adding Ashby's Blueberry Burst.
** Creamy mascarpone cheese ice cream with blueberry topping

Hudsonville Ice Cream is unable to provide Cake Batter, in the interim, we will be replacing it with Ashby's Jacked up Tennessee Toffee.
** Toffee ice cream mixed, laced with smooth whiskey sweet sauce and garnished with broken Heath Bars.

Both of these new flavors will be available for your tasting pleasure beginning next week Monday!

Happy Sunday, we hope you are all doing fantastic!

Pineapple Dole Whip is back in stock and being served. You can get in a vanilla twist as well. We plan to rotate thru dole whip flavors thru the remainder of the season. Please drop a note with your favorite dole whip flavor!

We have also purchased another machine, so we are able to provide nondairy SoftServe vanilla and dole whip.

Couple of other notes:
Joe Football didn't have a stellar performance, so he has been traded for Ashby's Carrot Cake. This cinnamon spice ice cream, laced with cream cheese frosting and carrot cake slices is sure to remind you of your Grandma's carrot cake (unless it wasn't good).

Carrot Cake will be in stock on Monday for a limited time.

Cake Batter is still in stock in our shop but we our told that it is out of production at Hudsonville Ice Cream until mid-September. That said, we will likely run out of it towards the middle to end of this week.

We just had our T-shirts designed and made for our Team and we think they turned out great!

We are considering making these available to our valued customers and would appreciate your feedback on the potential demand. The T-shirts will be priced at $25.00, and will be offered in a range of colors, including Classic Red, Black Frost, Carnation Pink, Heathered Sage, Heathered Grey, and Tundra Blue Heather.

If interested, please comment with size and color preference. There is a two week lead time from order date to receiving. These will be sold directly at Houseman's Ice Cream.
