Good morning and Happy Monday!!!!! We know what Monday means……IT’S FRIED CHICKEN NIGHT…..yes, some restaurants have it every night BUT we can guarantee the love doesn’t go into it like ours. Friday, the chicken is cleaned, cut and brined for a minimum of 36 hours . Saturday night or early Sunday morning (yes, even when we are closed) , the first and second coat of our signature breading is done. Monday that’s when the fun starts…..the homemade gravy made with drippings of some of the chicken definitely not a packet of gravy (do not worry, the staff enjoys so no chicken goes to waste) the homemade mashed potatoes, the collards or green beans, and the Housemade yeast rolls are prepared. THEN THE CHICKEN IS FRIED TO ORDER…..not hot held or anything like that! We put the love and quality standards into our fried chicken ! That’s why it truly is LOVE AT FIRST CRUNCH ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Another beautiful Day in Buxton!!! Come see us tonight for a great line up of specials….

And thanks to all that joined us for our first chicken night of the season and last night as we honored Dolly Parton by our “Dolly” drink and we played her hits all evening long. There may have been a sing a long or two at the Clam Bar.
