Just days before the fire we had our Fish Fry schedule set, our St. Patrick's Day menu ready to roll, and a Customer Appreciation Party slated for the end of March. We were preparing to have dinners on Sunday evenings again, and talks about spring time entrees and summer cocktails for the patio. The fire changed all of these plans but it also reminded us how truly lucky we are to live where we do. The support has been overwhelming.

We opened Fat Daddy's during Covid knowing that we had the staff, the location, and the community to overcome any obstacle, and we weren't wrong. The community has been extremely supportive before and now after the fire. Regarding our staff, they have been an amazing group of guys and gals that put a lot of love into preparing, cooking, and serving our guests. Our heart breaks for them. Thankfully local restaurants in the area have offered to provide employment opportunities and we can't thank them enough!

We are happy to share that with much love our big brother restaurant Vinny's has offered to host the Customer Appreciation Party we were preparing to have. Please watch for updates on both Fat Daddy of Burton's and Vinny's Italian Kitchen's Facebook for details about the event. This information will be coming very soon. We look forward to seeing all of you at the party!

In closing we would like to give a big thank you to the first responders for your efforts. We appreciate all of the area departments very much!
