Get the gang together this weekend and come visit us at the NuWray for a cozy meal indoors at the Old Ray or some fun outdoors at Roland’s. We’ve got a great special running this weekend — Nathan’s Gnocchi: Hickory Nut Gap soppressata, butternut squash, brown butter, sage, and crispy carrot.

The Preston Benfield Band plays tomorrow, Saturday, October 17 at Roland’s. Stake out a spot near the outdoor fireplace, get something to drink, and enjoy an evening of live music with friends. Sounds like a weekend well spent!

Unfortunately, Roland’s will be closed tonight due to the state of the weather. The upside is that gives you some time to start planning your costume for our Halloween costume contests!

We’ll have two opportunities to show off your costume craftiness on 10/31:
👻6:30-8pm at Roland’s, family-friendly contest while the Gypsy River Band plays and the smoker’s going with warm-up foods!
🧛‍♀️8-10:30pm in the The Washroom Bar, 21 and up contest

Both contests come with prizes, so take this rainy day to brainstorm a winning choice!

Supper and a little music make a fine evening in our book, and we've got a great special at the Old Ray queued up — seared salmon, served with roasted butternut and quinoa salad with arugula, pickled red onion and a basil chimichurri. And gluten free, to boot!

We've got the Dwayne Melton Band scheduled for Roland's tomorrow, October 10, though the forecast is looking iffy. Come tonight to take advantage of some beautiful weather on the deck after dinner. Bring someone you’ve been meaning to catch up with. We’d be glad to have you at the table.

There’s no hurry to come indoors when the mountains look like this. Spend an October day on the trails around Burnsville, whether you’re after a quiet walk beneath a canopy or a longer hike with a view.

When your feet have had their say, come back for a hearty meal at the Old Ray, some more fresh air and live music at Roland’s, a good porch sit and people watching, and a comfortable room to recover in.
