Thanks to everyone who participated in the auction for our equipment. If you have not picked up your items that you bought please come by or call today to make arrangements. If we have not heard from you in the next two days your items will be thrown away because we must be out of the building. Thank you.

We'll be having an auction of all of our equipment, tables, chairs and decorations Thursday April 9th. The online bidding has already started at LMRauctions.com. Check it out and we hope to see everybody there! We'll have a concession stand from Bill's Burgers Thursday serving breakfast tacos, then hamburgers at lunch.

For our last day, all you can eat buffet of Beef and chicken fajitas, Chile rellenos, enchiladas, rice, beans, salad for 12.99, 5.99 for kids!!!

Today is our last full day to be open! We have had so much fun these past nine years and are so grateful to have met so many wonderful people. We'd love to see everyone today but I do want to give you a heads up. We are running with a limited staff and limited food inventory. The food and drinks we have will be delicious but it will take slightly longer than usual and we will run out of some items. Looking forward to seeing everyone! Thank you!

The Maxican is Closing.
After almost nine years of being open, The Maxican will be closing our doors for the final time Sunday, March 29th. We are unable to continue to operate for a couple of reasons. The first is an inability to renegotiate our lease. The other and most important reason is our desire to spend more time with our family. We want to have more time available to be with Max's father, who was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer 1and half months ago. We also want to be home with our children more and have free time to do things with them. We will miss all of our regular guests and appreciate all of your friendships and support. We will still be open at Bill's Burgers Wings and Things seven days a week and my grandmother Mamaw will be working there with us also. This has been a very difficult decision for us to make, but we feel like this is what God wants us to do. We will always cherish the memories that were made and the friendships that were formed. Thank you to every one of our guests for allowing us to serve you. Max, Amber, Bill and all the Maxican family

On Jan. 19th, 2015 Max Cardenas Sr., known to many as Señor, was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer.
